Lowered create minimal compositions of long-form cello drones and sparse piano over dark swells of sound and grainy field recordings. Band members Chris Gowers and Katie English have previously released numerous recordings under their respective solo guises Karina ESP and Isnaj Dui. This project however sees a departure in approach as well as instrumentation.
